The pre-tightening method is divided into two categories: radial pre-tightening method and axial pre-tightening method; the following is described.
1. Radial preloading method The radial topping method is mostly used in tapered bore bearings that accept radial loads; typically, for example, double row fine short cylindrical roller bearings; the use of nuts to adjust the axis of such bearings relative to the tapered journal Orientation; make the inner ring have a suitable amount of expansion to obtain a radial negative clearance; this method is mostly used in machine tool spindles and jet engines.
2. The axial pre-tightening method can be generally divided into two types: positioning pre-tightening and constant-pressure pre-tightening. In the positioning pre-tightening; the scale of the bushing or the gasket can be adjusted; the appropriate pre-tightening amount can also be obtained. The pre-tightening can be adjusted by measuring or controlling the starting conflicting torque; the paired double-bearing bearing pre-adjusted with the pre-tightening amount can be directly used to complete the pre-tightening intention; at present, the user usually does not need to adjust again; However, the bearings that are axially pre-tightened must not change their relative orientation when used. The constant-pressure pre-tightening is to use a spiral spring, a disc spring, etc. to make the bearing suitable for pre-tightening. Pre-tightening the rigidity of the spring Generally, it is much smaller than the rigidity of the bearing; therefore, the relative orientation of the bearing with constant pressure preload will change during operation; however, the preload is almost constant.
The comparison between positioning preload and constant pressure preload is as follows:
(1) When the pre-tightening amount is flat; the positioning pre-tightening has a greater effect on the bearing rigidity; and the influence of the rigidity change on the bearing load during positioning pre-tightening is also much smaller.
(2) Positioning pre-tightening in operation; axial length difference due to temperature difference between shaft and bearing housing; large amount of radial expansion caused by temperature difference between inner and outer rings; displacement caused by load; The amount changes, while the constant pressure preload is in use; the change in preload is negligible.
