Tile Selection Tips

The first step: Take any piece from the packing box to see whether the surface is smooth and in good condition. The glaze should be uniform, bright, no spots, lack of glaze, bumps, and the surrounding edges should be regular. Glazing is not bright, astringent, or air bubbles are quality problems.

Step 2: Take another piece of brick and align the two pieces. The smaller the middle gap, the better. If it is a pattern tile, four pieces must be used to piece together a complete pattern, and whether the pattern of the brick should be connected and clear should be considered. Then take out a box of bricks and place them on a large flat surface. Look at the effect from a little distance away. Whether it is white or other colors or patterns, the color should be the same. If there are individual bricks, shallow points, it will be difficult to see. , affect the entire decorative effect

The third step: put these bricks together and erect them. Compare the size of the bricks. If the deviation of the small bricks is plus or minus 1 mm, the big bricks are allowed to be plus or minus 2 mm.

Step 4: Take a piece of brick to knock another piece, or use other hard objects to knock on the brick. If the sound of the brick is crisp and loud, it means that the quality of the brick is good and cooked; if the sound is abnormal, it means there is heavy leather inside the brick. Or crack phenomenon: when the heavy skin is the brick forming, the material in the air is not discharged, resulting in poor combination of materials and materials, internal cracking, can not be seen from the surface, only the sound can be identified.

Tiles in several categories

Glazed tile: refers to a brick that has a glazed layer on the surface of the brick. This kind of brick is divided into two types: one is made of clay, and the other is made of porcelain clay. About 80% of home decorators currently choose this brick as the floor decoration material.

Fullbody brick: This is a non-glazed porcelain tile with good slip resistance and abrasion resistance. Generally referred to as "non-slip floor tiles" are mostly full bricks.

Polished bricks: All bricks are polished after polishing and they are very hard and wear-resistant.

Vitrified tiles: This is a high-temperature fired porcelain tile, which is the hardest of all tiles. Sometimes the tiles are still scratched when the tiles are scratched.

Mosaic: many specifications, thin and small, hard texture, acid, alkali, wear-resistant, watertight, resistant to pressure, not broken, colorful, versatile.

Common specifications: Tile size 400x400mm, 500x500mm, 600x600mm, 800x800mm

Mosaic size 20 × 20mm, 25 × 25mm, 30 × 30mm, thickness in order between 4mm-4.3mm.

How much is a square meter generally?

Price: From the price analysis, general domestic glazed wall tiles, first-class product prices at 40 yuan per square meter, deep color glaze prices slightly higher than the light color glazed brick prices, plus auxiliary materials and labor costs, etc. About 80 yuan square meters. The price of imported glazed wall tiles is 1-3 times higher than domestic ones, and the price per square meter is between 80-170 yuan.

Tile construction process

Personnel: It usually requires 1-2 bricklayers.

Order: first put wall tiles, then paste tiles.

Time: A good bricklayer sticks 5-6 squares a day, otherwise it is difficult to guarantee quality. Especially in the case of windowsills where small diagonals are needed, it is time consuming.

Paving ceramic floor tiles basic process

1. Paste colored glazed bricks: deal with the grassroots → elastic line → tile soaking wet → paving cement mortar → install standard blocks → paving the floor tile → jointing → cleaning → maintenance

2. Laying Ceramic Mosaic Tiles (Mosaic): Treating Grassroots → Spring Lines, Plaiting Bars, Paving Cement Mortar, Laying, Shooting, Sprinkling, Uncovering Paper, Picking, Pouring, Cleaning, Curing

Tile Precautions

(1) The grassroots must be qualified for treatment, and there must be no floating soil or floating dust.

(2) Ceramic tiles must be soaked and dried. After free from affecting the coagulation and hardening, hollowing, shelling and other problems occur.

(3) No person will be allowed within 2~3 hours after completion of paving. Ceramic tiles should be maintained for 4 to 5 days before they are available.

LS beariing offers many linear motion components which can be purchased online. Our frelon® lined bearings can carry 4 to 8 times the load of ball bearings. New line of stainless steel precision shafting features 1/64" x 45° chamfer at both ends. Guide blocks made of AISI 1055 steel, concentric and eccentric type guide wheels as well as new needle bearing cam followers are available for purchase in this section.

Linear Bearings
Linear motion is the most basic of all motion. Linear ball bearings provide linear movement in one direction.

A Roller Bearing, carries a load by placing rolling balls or rollers between two bearing rings called races. These bearings are comprised of an outer ring and several rows of balls retained by cages. Roller bearings are manufactured in two styles: ball slides and roller slides.

Ball Slides
Ball Bearing slides are the most common type of linear slide. They use self-lubricated ball bearings housed in the base. This arrangement offers smooth precise movement along a single-axis linear design. Typically constructed from aluminum, hardened cold rolled steel or galvanized steel, ball bearing slides consist of two linear rows of ball bearings contained by four rods located on opposite sides of the base, which support the carriage for smooth linear movement. This low-friction linear movement can be powered by a drive mechanism, by hand, or inertia. Ball bearing slides have a lower load capacity compared to other linear slides, this is because the balls are less resistant to wear and abrasions. Ball bearing slide applications include fragile instrumentation, robotics, cabinetry and appliances.

Roller Slides
Roller slides are non-motorized. Roller slides are based on linear roller bearings, which are frequently criss-crossed to provide heavier load capabilities and better movement control. They provide low-friction linear movement for hand-powered equipment. Roller slides are versatile and can be adjusted to meet numerous applications which typically include clean rooms, vacuum environments, material handling and automation machinery.

Consisting of a stationary linear base and a moving carriage, roller slides work similarly to ball slides, except that the bearings housed within the carriage are cylindrical shaped instead of ball shaped. The bearing races are "V" grooved, one being on the top carriage and the other on the base. Typically, carriages are constructed from aluminum and the rods and rollers are constructed from steel.

Although roller slides are not self-cleaning, they are suitable for environments with low levels dirt and dust. Roller slides are capable of providing linear motion on more than one axis through stackable slides and double carriages. Roller slides have a broader contact surface due to contact between the carriage and the base and resulting in less erosion.
