For the simple process of machining the end face, chamfering, and arc surface of the common pin, sleeve, tube and disc workpiece shown in Fig. 1, the outer circle is clamped by a three-jaw chuck on a common lathe. Due to the frequent loading and unloading, the workpiece has no reliable positioning in the axial direction, the labor intensity of the workers is large, the production efficiency is low, the labor and time are required, and the scrap rate is high. Combined with the variety of products in our factory and the small batch size, we designed and manufactured the equipment shown in Figure 2. The quick-change high-efficiency multi-purpose pneumatic lathe clamp is used in the processing of the above various types of workpieces, and has received satisfactory results.
