The seat belt used by the workers afterwards was actually a “three-nothing” product without a certificate. This is due to the company’s procurement or management of labor insurance. There was no tragedy caused by good customs when supplies were used.

There are legal requirements for the use of labor insurance products

The "Safety Production Act" stipulates: "The production and business operation units must provide workers with labor protection articles that conform to national standards or industry standards." The Occupational Disease Prevention Law stipulates: "Employers must adopt effective preventive measures for occupational diseases and work for them. Provide personal protective equipment for occupational disease use, and "provided occupational disease protective equipment must meet the requirements for the prevention and treatment of occupational diseases, and must not be used if it does not meet the requirements."

In the above two methods, the word "must" is used. The first level of meaning is to emphasize the importance of labor protection articles, not dispensable material welfare treatment, but to protect production safety and prevent industrial accidents and occupational diseases; The meaning of the second floor is to emphasize the quality of labor protection articles. Labor protection articles that do not meet national standards or industry standards cannot be used.

Choose labor protection supplies are exquisite

In fact, the classification of protective articles is very particular. Only gloves have common categories, waterproof, cold-proof, anti-virus, anti-acid, anti-radiation and other 16 major categories of nearly 100 kinds of products. What kinds of gloves are used in the type of work are clearly defined. Without proper knowledge of security protection, errors will occur. For example, high-pressure test workers choose insulation shoes, it depends on the specific power intensity, if only 5 kV power intensity, but with 15,000, will not be cost-effective, but need 15,000 but bought into 5,000 , it does not meet the requirements of protection.

According to the requirements, the employer shall, in accordance with the needs of safe production of enterprises and the prevention of occupational injuries, issue individual labor protection articles for workers according to different types of work and different working conditions; the labor protection articles must be selected in accordance with the working conditions and the parts and requirements that need protection. Scientifically and reasonably selecting the type; for the production of essential safety helmets, safety belts, insulation and protection products, gas masks, dust masks and other personal protective equipment for workers, must be equipped according to the requirements of specific types of work, select special labor When it comes to protective equipment, it must be determined that the product has a safety production license, product certification, and safety appraisal certificate. The company's safety technology department and trade union organization must conduct supervision and inspection. It is understood that many companies nowadays use tendering methods to choose labor insurance products. Many manufacturers do not talk about quality when they bid for labor insurance products. They only look at the price, and whoever has a low offer will use their products. Analyze the reasons. First, buyers lack relevant knowledge. Second, buyers themselves do not pay attention. Third, in some use units, labor insurance products only meet the higher level inspection, product quality is unqualified or not, fourth is the user's individual protection. Consciousness is backward, and there is no recognition of some occupational hazards. It is the attitude of using the unit purchaser's heavy price and light quality that causes the tragedy of wearing protection supplies but not getting protection again and again.

Use enterprise call standard guidance

Although companies bear the brunt of the responsibility for purchasing labor protection products, many companies' procurement departments have also complained that the current unsound standard of labor insurance products in China has caused some difficulties for their work. Taking gloves as an example, the national and industrial standards for protective gloves still need to be improved. China currently only GB/T 12624-2006 (General technical conditions for protective gloves) a national standard on the quality of protective gloves, and the standard of the quality of protective gloves is relatively loose. In addition, domestic protective gloves manufacturers will also refer to a number of industry standards, such as: LD 59-1994 (forest fireproof gloves), AQ 6101-2007 (rubber oil resistant gloves), AQ 6102-2007 (acid resistant (alkaline) gloves), AQ 6103-2007 (welding protective gloves), AQ 6104-2007 (X-ray gloves), GA614-2006 (police cut-proof gloves). However, among these standards, except that the standard for police-proof cut-off gloves is mandatory as a standard for single-alarm equipment promulgated by the Ministry of Public Security, the remaining standards are non-mandatory. Due to the lack of a standard system of protective gloves in China, the quality of domestic protective gloves is often uneven, which can also cause companies to encounter difficulties in their choice.

In short, the relevant departments should formulate product standards that are more in line with modern production laws as soon as possible so that enterprises can have evidence to follow when purchasing labor protection products.
