On December 11, the signing ceremony for the Zhengzhou New Material Industry Cluster Area Project was held in Fuyang. At the ceremony, the Sixth Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. of Machinery Industry (referred to as the Sixth Institute of China National Machinery Corporation) signed a framework agreement with the Fuyang Municipal Government for the investment construction-repurchase (BT) framework of the Zhengzhou New Material Industry Cluster Area.

The project includes 400,000 square meters of standardized factory buildings and 37.73 kilometers of municipal roads (including road works, road rainwater and sewage drainage systems, road lighting and monitoring systems, and greening systems), totaling 1,496,530 square meters. Another 8 ordinary municipal road bridges (Jianliangliang Bridge) covers an area of ​​about 15,000 square meters, with a total investment of about 1.2 billion yuan.

Zhengzhou New Material Industry Cluster Area is located in the northwest of the main city of Xiangyang City, on both sides of Zhengzhou Science Avenue, south to Zhengshang Road, east to Lianhuo Expressway, with a total planned area of ​​about 10 square kilometers. The annual output value is planned to reach 2016. 100 billion yuan, becoming the country's largest new material industrial park with super-hard materials as the main body, complete supporting facilities, distinctive industrial characteristics, and a "China One-Pole" modern industrial industrial base that highlights the profound cultural heritage of the Central Plains.
