Chen Xinting said that the weather in Cambodia is hot, so pest control is one of the important steps in planting cantaloupe. To this end, the company has adopted a method of planting and planting. At the same time, it uses natural fertilizers such as cow dung and chicken manure, does not apply chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and insists on producing “green food†in order to meet the current development trend and demand of agriculture.
At present, the wholesale price of cantaloupe produced by Huaxia Company in Cambodia is between 1,000 and 1200 US dollars per ton. The chairman of the company, Li Xianming, plans to attend the Fifth China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, Guangxi, from October 22nd to 25th to specifically promote Xinjiang Hami melon grown in Cambodia.
Chen Xinting also said that the company urgently needs large areas of land to expand planting. If there are 50 to 60 hectares of orchards, the production of Hami melon can take shape and basically meet market demand.
