Dong Mingzhu : Because the quality of Gree air conditioner is very good, many people say that if our refrigerator is labeled with Gree, it will be better sold. With the brand of Gree Life Appliance, everyone will trust immediately, but I am not standing in order to make money. From the perspective of the problem, more is to cultivate China's own brand, let Chinese brands go to the world, this is the main reason at that time determined not to let the refrigerator and life appliances to the Gree brand.
If one day, consumers can buy Dasong's series of products all over the world, and say, this is China; if one day, everyone buys Jinghong's series of products, it is also said that this is China. Dong Mingzhu : The mobile phone belongs to a kind of consumables and fast-moving products. Someone told me that the quality of the mobile phone is not important. The key is to have a stylish appearance. However, we believe that quality is the first priority, and our mobile phones must at least be used for three or four years. Our first generation of products are not open for sale, because the storage capacity of the first generation of mobile phones is too small for young users, which is not satisfactory to me. The first generation of mobile phones arrived in the hands of ordinary consumers. We broke all of them and there was no concept of maintenance. Regarding the second generation of products, it will probably be listed at the end of April this year.
As for the number of Gree mobile phones to sell, it will depend on several factors: First, the quality of the products, second, consumer recognition is not recognized, third, consumers can afford, I hope that the quality of my products is the best. The price is the most real.
I said that Gree is not doing money in the mobile phone business, nor is it to fight price wars with other people, to disrupt the market of others, but to lay out the overall industrial configuration needs. We have also entered the equipment manufacturing industry. We believe that for Gree, the intelligent transformation may contain two levels of meaning: First, Gree produces smart home appliances, and second, Gree's production process is intelligently transformed. Can you talk about the challenges of Gree's intelligent transformation at two levels?
Dong Mingzhu : For Gree, intelligent transformation has two meanings. First, the products we manufacture are more humanized, which can bring convenience, energy saving and environmental protection to people. The other is to better control costs in the production process. Let our efficiency and effectiveness change. In both respects, we are all prepared. We have a large number of R&D personnel. As a manufacturing company, one-tenth of our employees are engaged in technology research and development. In terms of efficiency and efficiency improvement, we have also achieved good results. Another important factor for new business is whether there is core technology. Since Gree has to do smart equipment, including air-conditioning production, there must be Internet tools in it. Dong Mingzhu : I think it is normal. A person can not sleep 24 hours a day, and does not sleep 24 hours the next day, and may need to rest on the third day. The same is true for the air-conditioning industry, and it is not surprising that normal sleep is not a problem. I think the key question is how to transform and upgrade enterprises in this state. If your products, your manufacturing, can't keep up with the times, you can't meet the needs of users, you have to be eliminated.
I think the problem of destocking is relative. Chinese people buying rice cookers abroad have spent one or two billion yuan. If China’s one or two billion yuan rice cookers are sold, is there a problem with destocking? Therefore, it is not an inventory problem, but ultimately it is a quality issue.
"China Business News": At present, the internal entrepreneurship of large enterprises is very popular. Dong Mingzhu : I think it is just a name to call the incubator. Some people may think that the incubator is a new term, but I think the more important question is whether or not to cultivate talents.
