(1) Select aluminum rods with different tensile strengths according to the aluminum wire diameter. For aluminum rods of the same specifications, aluminum rods with large tensile strength are generally used for drawing aluminum wires having a large diameter. Because the rods are hard, aluminum wires have a large diameter and a small amount of deformation, and are easy to implement. On the contrary, the aluminum rods with lower strength have relatively good plasticity and are easy to draw on a large number of drawing dies, which can be used to pull small diameter aluminum wires. Having mastered this rule, it is convenient to accurately select aluminum rods of suitable strength according to the aluminum wire diameter, which can reduce the production of waste products and increase production efficiency.

(2) Choose different strength aluminum rods based on aluminum wire strength. For a wire drawing machine, the strength of the aluminum wire pulled out by the aluminum rod, which usually has a low strength, is also small without changing the mold. A bundle of rods A can be selected first. If the strength of the drawn aluminum wire is too high and the strength is less, then a B rod with a lower tensile strength than that of the A rod is selected. If the strength of the aluminum wire pulled out by the B rod meets the requirements, It is recommended to select the B rod. If the specifications of the aluminum wire are not changed, the next rod can be selected with the same strength as the B rod. This requires the inspector to clearly mark the tensile strength of each bar on the certificate and give it to the drawing staff. (3) Distribute aluminum rods with different tensile strengths to different wire drawing machines.
