The Machine Tool Association 2015 User Network Annual Meeting was held in Beijing

On March 12, 2015, the 2015 China Machine Tool Industry Association User Liaison Network Annual Meeting was held in Beijing. The annual conference was founded in 1999 and has been in existence for 16 years. At the meeting, Director Guo Changcheng of the China Machine Tool Industry Association, Director Tu Jingxian and Mr. Zhou Minsen from the Marketing Department introduced the latest developments and prospects of the world's machine tools and the 14th China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT2015). Guo Changcheng introduced the latest products, technologies, development trends and trends of global machine tools presented at these exhibitions in the IMTS2014 and JIMTOF2014 international machine tool exhibitions held in Chicago, USA and Tokyo, Japan in 2014. Ms. Zhang Yuan, Marketing Director of Beijing Aviation Manufacturing Engineering Research Institute, introduced the relationship between aviation industry manufacturing technology and numerical control equipment, the technological characteristics of aviation manufacturing industry, and the entry point of aviation industry and “Made in China 2025”. She is actively thinking about the R&D and manufacturing of aviation-specific equipment. At the same time, she also expressed her desire to cooperate with machine tool manufacturers to develop aviation-specific equipment.

In addition, Director Song also mentioned that many aircraft manufacturing companies in China, including their factories, are facing the transformation of intelligent workshops, which will also be a great business opportunity for the field of machine tool transformation. Ma Xinglei, manager of the Planning and Development Department of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, introduced the new situation of China's marine low-speed diesel engine manufacturing. In the future, China's ship engine manufacturing will have stronger international competitiveness, manufacturing capacity will also double, and machine tools will be bigger. Demand, especially in the near future, will be conducted in batches for the Longmen Machining Center. It is hoped that domestic enterprises will actively participate in the bidding.

In his concluding remarks, Chen Huiren introduced to the delegates the changes in the machine tool industry, the new features of CIMT2015 and the adjustments of the association.
