Recently, Luopu Street Safety Supervision Squadron carried out special operations and special equipment safety inspections within its jurisdiction, focusing on the inspection of China Shipbuilding Guangzhou Waterway Bureau Co., Ltd. ship maintenance branch.

The inspectors mainly inspected the implementation of the company's production safety responsibility system, and also checked the on-site safety protection of special job positions, whether special operators were certified, the routine maintenance of lifting equipment and safety equipment, and the correct use of labor insurance supplies by operators. Whether there is any hidden danger in the job site. The law enforcement personnel spot-checked the two welders at random to inquire and gave them safety education on the use of labor protection articles. After verification, both welders held certificates. Law enforcement officials also inspected the use of four 5-ton bridge cranes and two 20-ton bridge cranes in the company for approval and maintenance work. Oxygen and acetylene bottles were found to be not stored in the production hall, and the spacing between them was insufficient. The lack of maintenance of the trachea, lack of safety signs on the production floor, some workers did not wear safety protective equipment and other safety hazards as required. For the problems found in the inspection, the law enforcement officers immediately ordered the company to complete rectification within a time limit, and increase the education of employees to eliminate safety hazards in a timely manner to ensure safety.
