The phenolic insulation board is made of phenolic foam, which is a new type of non-combustible, fireproof and low-smoke insulation material. It is a closed-cell rigid foam made of phenolic resin added with foaming agent, curing agent and other additives. The thermal conductivity of phenolic foam is about 0.023 (about 1/2 of polystyrene, the heat transfer coefficient of polystyrene board is about 0.042), and the fire rating is non-combustible grade A (can withstand 150 °C high temperature), and the price is similar to that of polyurethane. Both polystyrene foam and polyurethane foam are flammable and not resistant to high temperatures and are currently being used by the fire department. Phenolic fireproof insulation board can effectively solve the problem of building fireproof insulation. The phenolic insulation board does not melt, does not soften, has low smoke, does not diffuse flame, is resistant to flame penetration, has excellent fireproof performance, and has good thermal insulation effect.
