The outer casing of the high-voltage inverter is a sheet metal structural member, and its structure is complicated and cumbersome, and the number of structural parts inside is large. The general graphic design software is difficult to express clearly, and it is also difficult for customers to see the renderings of new products. To this end, our company purchased Autodesk's Inventor software in April 2005. Inventor software software brings great convenience to the design of the company's product structure.
Inventor software has powerful features and can be described as a river. In the design of the inverter structure, only one of the functions in Inventor is used, and the sheet metal design. When you first get in touch with Inventor software, you can first feel the most powerful features:
1, the appearance of the effect map is excellent, there is an artistic beauty.
2, the engineering drawing inherits the characteristics of Autocad, beautiful and generous, soft lines.
3, can provide a standard parts library.
There are more than 300 standard parts such as bolts, nuts, washers, etc. in a single inverter structure. These standard parts can be visually expressed by Inventor, and their model specifications and quantities can be accurately counted.
In the structure of the frequency converter, the structure of the unit cabinet is the most complicated, and the powerful function of Inventor can be better reflected in the design of the unit cabinet. So the following rewrite Inventor application in the unit cabinet design. The unit cabinet of the high-voltage frequency converter is internally provided with a power module unit and a sealed chamber for cooling the power module unit and a ventilation and heat dissipation passage and a control chamber formed thereby. The power unit in the unit cabinet is synchronously rectified by IGBT, and a three-phase high-voltage power supply with variable frequency can be obtained, which greatly reduces the sine wave drive motor with output harmonic content.

Invento is still very approachable during use. If you have a three-dimensional foundation, you can start working with a little familiarity. Novices can be handy if they listen to the training for a week. But it is not a smooth one. There are also roadblocks in the process of using it, and you can't do anything about it. At this time, as long as you are willing to drill, you will be able to solve your problems. When a problem is solved, you will have a little joy and joy, and bring joy to your boring design work. Here are the issues and challenges I encountered when using Invento:
1. The assembly encountered several problems from top to bottom and bottom to top design:
A. When do you need to go from top to bottom and when you need to go from bottom to top.
B. The establishment of the next level of components.
C. Editing of the assembly.
In the past, the design was designed from the bottom to the top, and the part drawing was drawn first. Later, it was found that the biggest shortcoming of this was that the mutual relationship between the parts could not be guaranteed and it was easy to make mistakes. Moreover, it is time consuming and is not conducive to the establishment of the next level of components. This is also in line with the normal thinking of designing assemblies. After several projects, I think the best idea is to focus on the top-down and supplement from bottom to top. There is a principle, a new part, the top-down method for finding the projection geometry on the assembly. In the appearance of the inverter, the front right upper door panel in the front right upper door assembly is determined from top to bottom. The 204 ventilation net is designed from bottom to top. In the case of existing parts or standard parts before the project, it is not easy to find the projection geometry in the assembly from bottom to top. In the design, do not consider the establishment of the next level of components. After all the parts are completed, grasp the whole situation to properly combine the parts. In the previous design, the parts were not built after all the parts were built. In the end, it was found that the parts were unreasonable and not conducive to the expression of the drawings. When all the parts are built and the parts are built, the first thing after the new parts are generated is to fix all the parts in the new parts. I didn't pay attention to this problem before. As a result, there is no re-assembly and assembly relationship between the parts in the new part. If it is not fixed, it is a terrible thing. If you don't pay attention, you will lose it. The components at each level in the appearance of the drive are created after all the parts have been completed. There are many sub-assembly parts, and the relationship between the upper and lower levels is also very complicated. It is very time-saving and labor-saving to use this method. The specific operation, in the appearance of the inverter, when the front left door assembly is established, in the component panel, first use the right button to the front door panel to pop up a menu point to degrade, and a dialog box is displayed to determine the name of the component as the front left door assembly and A new part was born to save the location. In this and the post-assembly, there is only one part of the front left door panel, and other parts need to be added. Adding is to hold the CTRL key in the part panel and select the part to be selected and drag it to the front left door assembly. Note that there is also a trick here. When you drag, you must open the part in a tree shape. Otherwise, the part just moves the position and there is no degradation. If you find yourself accidentally dragging the front top cymbal to the part, you can just right click and select the upgrade. For the editing of the assembly, look at the base channel weld map. This assembly is welded from several sections of channel steel. The upper holes are used to connect the side panels. It used to be easy to edit each channel to draw these holes, which was time consuming and error prone.
Later, I went to the processing workshop and saw that the workers were working on the holes after welding. At that time, I wondered why the assembly was not edited as a whole in the design. This feature is also available in Invento. It’s really another village.
