The purpose of creating a 2D graphics library is to facilitate the drawing and drawing management of 2D graphics. The following sub-libraries are included in the 2D graphics library:
1 Engineering drawings and surface processing tool library In the tool CAD, many technical standards, such as national standards, industry standards, and enterprise standards, are often involved. However, general CAD software cannot completely solve these problems, so secondary development is required. We use the Symbol and Program language in IDEASDRAFTING to automatically generate graphics, provide users with marking tools that conform to national standards, line labels and enterprise standards, and embed automatically generated graphic classifications into the icons of the DRAFTING environment. Users can click on icons and input. With the necessary parameters, it is easy to call a graph that meets the required criteria. When the graphic is displayed on the screen, various editing operations can be performed on it, such as the frame, frame, title bar, schedule setting, surface roughness, geometric tolerance, and dimensional tolerance.
The 22D Mechanical Standard Parts Library uses the Symbol and Program languages ​​in IDEASDRAFTING to create a library of mechanical standard parts, including inserts, holders, screws, standard handles, and purchased parts. When the user makes a two-dimensional design of the tool, the graphics in the library can be called directly. All parts are graphically classified and stored in a graphical menu format for easy recall.
The 32D drawing library stores the designed drawing number as a drawing file in a specific position to form a 2D drawing library, which is convenient for calling and checking.

The processing database consists of two sub-libraries: machining tool and auxiliary equipment library and machine tool processing information library.
4. Parameter database
The parameter database is the core of the entire graphics database. It is used to store all the parameters required for tool design and system operation, including part parameters, structural parameters, standard parameters, etc., and can record the data generated during the design process. In the development process, based on the Relation Data Management of IDEAS, the data is stored in the custom form of tool design, which is convenient for users to use and maintain, and can convert data into the structure required by the system in real time through the interface with various parts of the system. form.

1. Graphical database management interface
In order to facilitate the use of the graphics database and the data transfer between the libraries, we have written a set of graphical database management interface programs in IDEASMACRO language to coordinate the data between each library and the main design software package, parameter library and other libraries. Pass the relationship and complete the automatic maintenance of the basic library to provide the user with the function of the operation library. The user's operation of the partial library must be completed through the interface program, which increases the security of the library.
2. Graphic database
An entity that stores various graphic data separately.
