The change in base metal stocks on the London Metal Exchange on July 15 was as follows: The copper stocks were reduced by 300 tons and the total stock was 27,675 tons. Aluminum inventories fell by 4,550 tons and the total stock was 527,000 tons. Tin inventory decreased by 30 tons and the total stock was 3,635 tons. Lead inventories increased by 2,250 tons and the total stock was 57,825 tons. Zinc stocks fell by 1,525 tons and the total stock was 599,625 tons. Nickel stocks increased by 108 tons, with a total stock of 6,948 tons. Aluminum alloy stocks remained flat with a total stock of 45,460 tons.
