This DMTO technology research and development is started in 2004 by scientific research, design and operation personnel. After two years of sincere cooperation, the experiment started in Shaanxi on February 20 this year, and the material was successfully obtained. The test successfully laid the technical foundation for the one-step amplification of the industrial test equipment from the 10,000-ton methanol processing capacity to the large-scale DMTO production unit of the million-ton class.
The person in charge said that the successful development of DMTO industrial technology has opened up a major way for the development of China's olefin industry, which is of great significance for reducing China's oil imports and maintaining national energy security. At present, the preliminary work of the annual processing of 3 million tons of methanol and its conversion of olefins by several companies has been fully carried out.
