"Northern Baonan raises new technology for overwintering" has been successfully explored

From 2006 to 2008, Xixiakou Village, Rongcheng City, Shandong Province, successfully explored the “new technology for raising winter in northern Baonan”. Abalone suitable for growing water temperature is 18 °C to 25 °C, water temperature below 7 °C will stop eating; if long-term low temperature, it will be a large area of ​​death. However, the winter water temperature around Xixiakou Village is only about 1°C, and the abalone mortality rate in winter is very high. In November 2006, Xixiakou Village Fisheries Technology Co., Ltd. shipped more than 1.1 million wrinkled disc abalone seedlings to the “warm winter” in the Pingtan waters of Fujian Province. In Pingtan, abalones can eat long, normal growth and development, and the mortality rate is very high. Low, the test works well.
