The advantages of water dispersible granules

Water dispersible granules are a new type of pesticides developed in the 1980s. Because of their good safety, no organic solvents and no dust, the advantages of packaging, transportation, and convenience are rapidly developed. As an important development direction of new pesticides and environmental protection formulations, water dispersible granules have become the main pesticide formulations at home and abroad in recent years. Domestic enterprises are very enthusiastic in the development, registration and promotion of water dispersible granules.

According to Zhang Zongxi, a professor at the China Chemical Industry Research Institute, water-dispersible granules are granular formulations that can rapidly disintegrate and disperse into high-suspension solid-liquid dispersion systems after entering the water, and do not use organic solvents. Content of up to 50% to 90%, dispersion, suspension stability, the suspension rate of up to 90%, the particle size after dispersion of 8 to 10 microns, efficacy and commercial performance. Pesticide active ingredients are not easily soluble in water and organic solvents. Pesticides with a melting point greater than 70°C are suitable for processing into water dispersible granules.
