It is difficult to solve the problem that the infrared lamp generates a large amount of heat, but it can enhance the heat dissipation function of the entire infrared camera, and solve the problem that the entire infrared camera has a fast aging and a short service life from the side angle.
There are many types of infrared lamps, and LED infrared lamps are one of the more used ones compared to infrared cameras. Others are not suitable for infrared cameras, and are now completely replaced by LEDs. Here are a few simple introductions to several different types of infrared lamps.
Halogen bulbs and filters: In the early stage of infrared cameras, halogen bulbs and filters are characterized by long distances and high power, but the energy loss is also large, because most filters are added with filters. It is filtered out and converted into heat energy, so the life of this infrared lamp is very short, and there are many after-sales problems;
Laser tube: The characteristics of this kind of infrared lamp are less used in infrared cameras. The characteristic is that the illumination distance is the farthest, but the angle is very small. If the angle is increased, the distance is relatively changed due to limited energy. short. It can be seen that the application of laser tubes in the security industry is very contradictory;
LED light-emitting diode: This kind of application is widely used in infrared cameras. It is characterized by a long life of a single tube, but the tube is more, the current is larger, the heat is gone, and the life will be shortened. At the same time, high currents can also cause fire hazards. However, these drawbacks can be avoided.
LED infrared light products are divided into two categories: red burst and no red burst.
(1) There is a red-explosive product using an infrared led emission tube with a wavelength of 850 nm. In use, the infrared light will emit a dark red light when viewed from a close distance.
(2) The non-red burst product uses an infrared led emitter with a wavelength of 940 nm. In use, the surface of the infrared lamp does not have any light, so it is more concealed.
The same infrared camera, the sensitivity at 850nm wavelength is 10 times better than the sensitivity at 940nm. Therefore, the 850nm infrared light with a slight red storm has higher efficiency and should be the first choice for infrared light.
