Renovation of old spinning press machine with blue sky high-grade CNC system

At present, most of the automatic spinning and closing machines use a programmable controller as the main controller, and the stepping motor is used to open and control the control mode of the hydraulic servo system. Programmable controllers are suitable for logic or timing control, but control for servo axes is less than ideal. Although some intelligent analog components can be used to control some of the servo axes, their control accuracy and dynamic characteristics are poor, and programming, maintenance, and operation are also inconvenient. In particular, the stepper motor open-loop control hydraulic servo system, its stability and reliability can not meet the process requirements of the spinning and closing machine closing. The spinning and closing machine in the automatic production line of gas cylinders imported by our factory is an example. Because it uses programmable controller as the main controller and open-loop control hydraulic servo system with stepping motor, the control system is very unstable, and the geometric shape and error of the closing are very large. Although it has not been able to do so after many years of debugging, in the past 10 years, only 20,000 cylinders of not good quality have been produced. Until the control system was completely paralyzed, it became a technical key to a difficult problem.

1 Control plan argument

In order to overcome this technology key, we carried out in-depth and meticulous technical research project demonstration, and introduced the overall plan of transforming the spinning and closing machine with the blue sky high-grade CNC system.

The new control scheme breaks the control mode of the traditional rotary controller with the programmable controller as the main controller, and also breaks the control mode of the traditional numerical control system used only to control the electromechanical servo system, and adopts the blue sky high-grade CNC system control. The control mode of the hydraulic servo system of the spinning machine. Thus, the numerical control system replaces the programmable controller, the servo motor replaces the stepping motor, and the closed loop control replaces the open loop control. According to the scheme, the scheme can completely solve the shortcomings of the original spinning and closing machine, not only can improve the static precision and dynamic characteristics of the spinning and closing machine, but also the debugging, operation and maintenance are quick and convenient, especially the control system is very stable and reliable.

2 control system hardware technology design

After the overall plan was finalized, we conducted a specific technical design. The core of this technology design is how to control the hydraulic servo shaft with a numerical control system. This is the key technical key to the technical research of the spinning and closing machine control system. That is to say, this technology is related to the success or failure of the spinning and closing machine technology. At present, there is no mature precedent for controlling the spinning and closing machine with the numerical control system. We can only explore it by ourselves and carry out a large number of technical analysis and tests. During this time, we also analyzed the hydraulic servo system of the spinning machine. According to the principle of the hydraulic servo system of the closing machine, we have carried out the electrical and mechanical technical design and connection of the numerical control system and the hydraulic servo system shaft (see the figure below).

2.1 CNC system hardware technology design In the hardware technology design of the CNC system, we use the blue sky 8530 high-grade CNC system. The CNC system belongs to the international level of the 80s. According to the number of servo axes controlled by the spinning and closing machine, the number of digital input/output contacts and related technical requirements, we designed the blue sky 8530 high-grade CNC system configuration, the CNC system host: main CPU template 1; axis CPU template 1; storage 1 template; CRT display and operation template 1 block; D/A digital/analog conversion board 1 block; 4ENCODE four encoder template 1 block; 32I/O digital input/output template 4 blocks.

Auxiliary CNC system: 1 set of CRT display and operation panel. CNC servo system: 2 sets of Yaskawa servo amplifiers; 2 Yaskawa servo motors.
