The physical characteristics of PP-C(B) and PP-R are fundamentally similar, and the limitations of use are the same, and they can be exchanged and used in engineering. The primary difference is that PP-C(B) data is better than PP-R for low temperature brittleness; PP-R data is better than PP-C (B) for high temperature resistance. In practice, when the liquid medium temperature is ≤ 5 ° C, PP-C (B) tube is preferred; when the liquid medium temperature is ≥ 65 ° C, PP-R tube is preferred; when the liquid medium temperature is 5 ° C - 65 ° C In the inter-region, the functions of PP-C(B) and PP-R are basically the same.

Second, the chemical and physical characteristics of PP pipe

Because of the high degree of crystallinity, this material has good surface stiffness and scratch resistance. There is no stress cracking problem in PP.

The low MFR PP tube has better impact resistance characteristics but lower elongation. Regarding the same MFR data, the copolymer type has higher strength than the homopolymer type. Because of crystallization, the shortening rate of PP is quite high, generally 1.8 to 2.5%.

The strength of the PP tube increases with the addition of ethylene content. The Vicat softening temperature of PP is 150 °C. In the GM, PP is modified by means of glass fiber, metal additive or thermoplastic rubber.

The PP tube is a semi-crystalline material. It is stronger and has a higher melting point than PE. Because the PP temperature of the homopolymer type is very brittle when it is above 0 °C, many traded PP materials are non-linear copolymers of 1 to 4% ethylene or clamp copolymers of higher ethylene content. The copolymer type PP data has a lower heat distortion temperature (100 ° C), low brightness, low gloss, low rigidity, but has a stronger impact strength. The activity rate of PP is limited to 1~40. Moreover, the bias average of the shortening rate is much better than that of PE-HD. Participation in 30% of the glass additive can reduce the shortening rate to 0.7%. Both the homopolymer type and the copolymer type PP materials have excellent moisture absorption resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and ablation resistance. However, it does not have any resistance to aromatic hydrocarbon (such as benzene) solvent, chlorinated hydrocarbon (carbon tetrachloride) solvent, and the like. The PP tube does not have oxidation resistance at high temperatures like PE.

5, PP pipe has heat-resistant insulation and energy-saving - PP pipe material maximum use temperature of about 90 °C, the thermal conductivity of the product is only 1/200 of the steel pipe, so it has better insulation performance.

6. The PP pipe has reliable connection performance - the strength of the PP pipe hot melt interface is higher than that of the pipe body, and the joint will not be broken due to soil movement or load.

7. PP pipe has good construction performance - PP pipe material is light, the welding process is simple, the construction is convenient, and the comprehensive construction cost is low.
