In order to thoroughly implement the "Technical Specifications for Decorative Stone Open-pit Mines", promote the standardized construction and production of stone mines in China, comprehensively improve the overall level of the stone mining industry, and support the development of national stone mine construction and production standards, China Stone Industry Association Mine Resources Professional Committee in 2009 On September 11th, an expert work conference was held in Feitian Hotel, Wulian County, Shandong Province. Ten mine experts from the professional committee attended the meeting.
The main content of the meeting was to discuss the "Trial Measures for the Evaluation of Decorative Stone Mines" (discussion draft), put forward revision opinions, and formulate the activity rules for the next step to launch the national decorative stone mines. The meeting was presided over by Lin Yuhua, deputy director of the Mine Resources Professional Committee. All the participating experts conducted serious research and discussion on the "Trial Measures for the Evaluation of Decorative Stone Mines", and carried out careful and meticulous research and discussion on the trial methods and contents of the assessment. The subsequent "Trial Measures" are effective and operative.

Many constructive opinions have been put forward in mining production, comprehensive utilization of mines and environmental protection. Mining companies have expressed their serious reference to these opinions and rectified the problems existing in the mines, striving to become the first batch of mines as soon as possible.
Leaders attending the conference include: Secretary-General Liu Jianhua of China Stone Industry Association, Secretary General Zhou Keji of Shandong Stone Industry Association, Standing Committee of Zhang Guiwei, Standing Committee of Wulian County Party Committee, Zhu Hongbin, Secretary of Wulian County Street Party, Mayor Guan Rentao, Wu Lian Chairman of the County Stone Association Dong Yanping and Vice President Lin Quanhua.
