3. The annual consumption of fluorite in cement, glass and ceramics in Guangdong Province is about 20,000 tons. The annual consumption of fluorite in the metallurgical industry is 10,000 tons. Guangdong fluorite is mainly used in the production of metallurgy, cement, glass and ceramics, and is also exported mineral products. The province's statistically proven reserves of Grade D and above are 11 million tons, ranking sixth in the country, and most of the known deposits are not fully explored, and there are still large potential reserves. The fluorite ore bodies in Guangdong Province are mainly composed of medium- and low-temperature hydrothermal fissure-filled vein deposits. The surrounding rocks are mainly granite, and a few are volcanic rocks. A small part can be exploited in open pit, mainly distributed in Heyuan, Xingning, Lechang, Nanxiong and The granite body of Fogang and other places is in contact with the inner and outer belts. The ore body can be up to 3 kilometers long, the thickest is 23 meters, the general depth is 150-360 meters, and the calcium fluoride content is 39.77~96.02%. The ore can be obtained by high-grade fluorite rich ore.

Guangdong fluorite mines are mined by townships, localities, collectives and self-employed households, with a production of about 120,000 tons. In the counties and cities where fluorite is produced, there are concentrators or fluorite powder processing plants of varying sizes. In addition to the large demand in the province, some of them are sold to manufacturers outside the province, and a considerable number are sold to Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, the United States and other places.

4. Potassium feldspar Guangdong Province has rich potassium feldspar resources, and its proven reserves ranks fourth in the country. There are 13 deposits, 80% of which are pegmatite deposits, and there are hydrothermal exchange and mixed rock metamorphic deposits. The deposit is affected by the large fault zone and the intrusion of the rock mass. Potash feldspar deposits are mainly blocky or processed into 200-325 mesh potassium feldspar powder for use in ceramics, glass and enamel industries in Guangdong Province. The ore contains K2SO4 up to 10%. About 10 points in Qingyuan, Zhongshan, Yunfu, Wuhua, Gaozhou and other places are mined by local small-scale, with an annual output of about 20,000 tons of ore. Due to the simple processing method and unstable quality in Guangdong Province, some high-quality potassium feldspar powder still needs to be purchased from Hunan.

According to the investigation of the Wuhua Baishi deposit in recent years, the mine is the largest known and most geological work in Guangdong Province. It is a pegmatite type with proven ore reserves of 2.63 million tons. The ore body is vein-shaped, 291 meters long, 40 meters wide and 28 meters thick, containing K2O 10.3, Na2O 1.82%, CaO 1.31%, MgO 0.085%, SiO2 68.45%, Fe2O3 1.33%, Al2O3 15.27%, loss on ignition 0.85 %. At present, it is organized by regional small-scale mining, with an annual output of less than 5,000 tons. There is a milling factory in Wuhua Town. After the ore is processed, the Fe2O3 content should be reduced to below 0.28%, which can be used as a raw material for ceramics.

5. The wollastonite ore in Guangdong Province is mainly distributed in the acid intrusive rock and limestone contact metamorphic belt in the north of Guangdong, and the contact zone between the Upper II and the granite in the Chaotian mining area, containing wollastonite 79%, quartz 6.7%, calcite 8.2%. , whiteness 80.7. The ore body is about 1500 meters long and 490 meters wide. It is layered and exposed. The concentrate contains 44% SiO2, 40% CaO, and several thousand tons per year. It is mainly used in ceramic industry and metallurgy.

6. Gypsum Gypsum mines in Guangdong Province are mainly distributed in the Tertiary and Cretaceous inland lake fault basins of Yuebei, Yuezhong and Xingning, and are sedimentary deposits. The ore type is anhydrite, dihydrate gypsum, mud paste and fiber gypsum, and the average content of CaSO4 is 78-79%, which is multi-layered. The main ore layer is 2,600 to 21,000 meters long and 1200 to 4,200 meters wide, and the single layer is 0.2 to 2 meters thick. Sihui, Sanshui, Xingning and other places have been built, with an annual output of about 570,000 tons of ore and an output value of 58 million yuan. All of them are used in Guangdong Province, 90% of which is used for cement production and more than 1,000 tons. Production of gypsum board, gypsum powder and ceramic molds.
