Net exports of tungsten from January to June 2008 were 8516.2 tons of tungsten, a decrease of 19.9% ​​from the same period in 2007. The export volume in the first six months was lower than that in the same period of 2007, while the import volume was equivalent during the same period, so the net export volume decreased significantly. Exports from January to June have fallen sharply from the same period in 2007, partly because export tariffs have increased export growth and on the other hand because of weak overseas demand.
