The International Mold Industry and Special Purpose Tools Association (ISTMA) has appointed Sandvik Coromant as a member of its Global Partner Program. ISTMA General Manager Eduardo Beira announced the news at the Sandvik Coromant Shanghai Mould Application Center on May 13th during the 12th China Die & Mould China Exhibition.
ISTMA is a comprehensive organization for the global mold industry. The organization's new Global Partner Program aims to benefit from their knowledge by inviting strong, reputable suppliers in different regions to promote the development of mold companies and inspire competition among them.
Mr. Per Forssell, Manager of Mold Application Management at Sandvik Coromant, said that as the global partner of ISTMA, becoming the organization's first cutting tool supplier, will provide Sandvik Coromant with a metal cutting for the global mold industry.
