On the morning of February 20th, Professor Olle Wijk, Vice President of Global R&D and Technology Executive of Sandvik Group Materials Technology (SMT), and Mr. Zhang Yizhong, Business Manager of Greater China, visited the School of Materials Science of Shanghai University and signed the agreement. The framework cooperation agreement reached an agreement on cooperation for substantive work after in-depth exchanges. 
Professor Zhang Jieyu and Associate Dean Yin Jingbo, Dean of the School of Materials, thanked Professor Olle Wijk and Mr. Zhang Yizhong for their arrival. Zhang Jieyu gave a welcome speech. Professor Olle Wijk spoke highly of the research work of the School of Materials and thanked the College for its efforts in facilitating this collaboration. According to the memorandum of the framework cooperation agreement, the two sides conducted in-depth and detailed discussions on student joint training, student internship, academic exchange and scientific research cooperation, and reached an agreement. Based on the discussion, a specific cooperation agreement will be drafted. In the end, Dean Zhang Jieyu signed a framework cooperation agreement with Sweden Sandvik Group Material Technology Company on behalf of our institute, which laid a favorable foundation for substantive cooperation between the two sides. Later, Professor Olle Wijk and Mr. Zhang Yizhong went to the Baoshan Campus to visit the Analytical Testing Center with Professor Yin Jingbo. Professor Olle Wijk said that the School of Materials has a very advanced experimental platform and rich teaching resources. He is very much looking forward to the in-depth cooperation between the two sides in research and personnel training.
