The three models of cold precision forging technology for production are suitable for different scale enterprises.

Since the cold forging technology was used in production, three production modes have been formed.

(1) The first stage is called sequential cold forging

Multiple forming with multiple presses and multiple pairs of molds often requires intermediate annealing and lubrication. This mode has long process, large equipment and large floor space. It is still a ubiquitous model in the country. However, this model is flexible and adaptable, suitable for medium and small batch production.

(2) The second stage is called multi-station cold precision forging

The molds on multiple presses are concentrated on one press during the cold forging and forming, and the stations are transferred by robots. Such a stroke can machine a part. This greatly increases efficiency and reduces the number of units and floor space. No annealing is required between the processes. Lubrication is solved by spraying oil. However, the one-time equipment investment is large, and it is adopted by a few domestic enterprises, which is suitable for mass production or large-scale production.

(3) The third stage is called single-station multi-action cold precision forging.

With a press and a pair of molds, at one station, multiple actions are generated in one stroke, and the complex parts are precisely forged and formed at one time. Such as occlusion forging (reaction forging), multi-axis extruder forming, etc., so that the overall benefits are significantly improved. It is now adopted by a few domestic enterprises. A complicated part like a claw is originally formed three to four times, and this technique can be used at one time.
